My name is Emily Morton, I'm the owner of Violet & Gold. I'm a barber, mother, and pasta lover. I live to bring joy to those around me, and I love a good challenge. I enjoy the small talk on the barber shop floor and the happiness a fresh haircut and shave bring people.


2010-2023


I have worked in the male hair industry for 10+ years. My previous work was in The Colony, TX, at an upscale barber shop. The previous four years, I worked in Stillwater, OK, as the manager of a men's shop and, before that, a men's shop in Ft Worth, where I was the men's grooming expert of the year for the greater DFW area.
